Body Worlds 3

Last night we were able to go the Body Worlds Exhibit (thanks to Dustin’s dad being able to get us tickets).  It was very interesting to see but it was also super crowded which made it difficult to see anything.  By the end, my stomach was a little queasy from looking at all the stuff.

No cameras allowed = no pictures.  (sorry!)

“BODY WORLDS 3 is a first-of-its-kind exhibit where visitors learn about anatomy, physiology and health by viewing real human bodies. The bodies are preserved through plastination, which is a groundbreaking method for specimen preservation invented by Dr. Gunther von Hagens in 1977. BODY WORLDS 3 & the Story of the Heart features more than 200 authentic human specimens including whole body plastinates, organs, translucent body slices, and a special presentation on the heart.”

visit the website here.

It only is open until the 11th of January, so if you wanted to go and haven’t gone yet, time is almost up.

Also – Yay to the Jazz for winning against the New Orleans Hornets last night.  What a game!  116 – 90 final score.
